  Dirty, disgusting subway station. Used needles on the ground, and plenty of rats. Avoid this place.

  Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center is a New York City Subway station complex shared by the BMT Fourth Avenue Line, the BMT Brighton Line and the IRT Eastern Parkway Line, located at Atlantic, Fourth, and Flatbush Avenues and Pacific Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The complex is served by the: 4, D, N, Q and R trains at all times 5 train at all times except evenings and late nights on weekdays 2 train on weekdays 3 and B trains weekdays only except late nights W train during rush hours only, with a few trips in the peak direction With nine subway services, this station is second to the Times Square–42nd Street/Port Authority Bus Terminal complex in offering the most transfers to other services. As of 2016, it is the busiest subway station in Brooklyn, with 13,818,168 passengers, and is ranked 21st overall.[3] The control house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1980,[5] while the station complex as a whole has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2004,[5] and is ADA-compliant. It featured various paintings from MoMA's collection reproduced and installed in the station complex. The reproductions were installed in several different ways: a decal like material applied to the tile; posters in advertising frames; photographs backlit in a light box.

  Big station...many lines and LIRR. Convenient for transferring subway lines.

  The island platform used for the IRT Lexington Ave trains 🚂, while the side platform used for the IRT 7th Ave trains 🚂.

  Very busy train station with lots of connections. The elevators usually smell like pee or are just very musty in general. I usually avoid the elevators unless I absolutely have to. There are public bathrooms but you're better off finding some place outside of the station to go.
