    I parked December 14th, 2017. When presenting my ticket to the attendant, I was asked if I have an extra set of car keys which I did not. This is when the nightmare begins. The owners of Astoria Central Parking LLC Evan and Dennis had me wait closes to 3 hours while staff and Evan pryed my driver’s side door open to gain access. At that time, I did not realize my driver’s door was damaged where it no longer seals, when driving air currents can be heard. In speaking to Evan the owner, I made it clear that this is unacceptable customer service, why was I expected to wait when a locksmith should have been called for their negligence. I asked for fair and reasonable compensation for my time as I teach special education students and due to the close 3 hr wait I missed my sessions. These special ed. Sessions could not be made up due to upcoming holiday break. Evan gave me his word he would discount my parking fee to total the wages lost. Ever since then, they deny the agreement. I contacted the Better Business Bureau to assist me. How deceitful and pompous to think I should not be compensated. I teach two blocks away, parking in Astoria is quite the challenge. To take advantage of patrons entrusting their car to them and then inconveniencing them for their negligence is an outrage. The staff are hardworking good people, the owners of this facility obviously need a lesson in customer service.

    This is the worst garage in NYC i have been using it for a few months now and had nothing but issues. I tried to give them 3 tries to make it better amd they just made it worse, lomg story short i just left this place minutes ago and was charged an extra $7 due to their fault. I parked my car at 9PM last noggt and picked up the car this morning 8:30 (which is $12) supposedly their system registered me comming at 7PM, after making me wait for over 20 minutes to solve the problem one of the guys called his boss and the boss pretty much told me to go F mysepf. Well with that kinda service and treatment i wish them all the luck but if you value your car and your money you will STAY AWAY from this place

    Do NOT ever use their services if you are getting a Zipcar. Made a reservation, came early to pick up the car, and their valet service took them 20 mins just to bring it out, but, there are only two elevators so I understand there's wait time. My actual complaint comes from how negligent they are. When I returned the car, the person who received my car, the owner's sister as I understand, told me she misplaced the Zipcar key needed to park it and asked if I found it. It was never in the car to begin with. She never asked me for my Zipcar key to park the car, didn't tell me that I need to lock the car either, basically said "oh thank you for returning the car, have you seen my key? No, ok, thanks, you are good". Next morning, Zipcar is charging me $180 late fee for the car being 3 hrs late even though I returned it an hour early. Are you f#$ing kidding me? When I called the garage, the guy I spoke to basically said it was my fault for allowing her to take the car and that I should have locked it. That's so great valet and customer service. Displace the Zipcar key then blame the customer for your incompetence. If you house Zipcar, you accept the service responsibility that comes with it. I have no idea who was joy riding the car for 3 hrs after I dropped it off to their valet staff, but I am certain I will never ever use this garage for any service whatsoever.

    Being given the runaround about refunding my security. Beware for long term needs. One employee Lorenzo is ace but otherwise my experience has been uniformly negative.
