Nice people, quality frames and craftsmanship. They sell good pictures a buyer and guest could appreciate.

I used Astoria art and framing twice for framing art. The second time when I got home with my frame there were several noticeable wrinkles and the piece was UPSIDE DOWN. When I went back to have the piece fixed, the owner refused and charge me an additional $30 to have it framed properly. Needless to say this was a huge waste of time and money. Would recommend going to one of the other framing stores in the neighborhood

Altogether this frame shop has always done quality work for me all at a very reasonable price. The quality of the frames and variety are why I come to this shop and the owner Claud is always very personable, helpful and patient. There are also artists working on their own projects in the studio which is always interesting.

Whether its an expensive item or one that has nostalgic value, this frame store treats your possession as if it were a master piece. They have nice variety of frames, backgrounds and framing solutions. I was able to find the perfect frame within minutes with the help of one of the owners there. The price was way fair but don't be gassed at the cost of specialty museum glass or the like. Well those things are expensive anywhere. The framing was done within the estimated time frame and it really came out clean. Id recommend this shop to anyone looking to decorate their art. Also, they have real artwork by local painters as you walk in. I was even able to see one of these artist in action last Saturday as we worked while I shopped. Very cool

Definitely pricey, but high quality work. They are not fast, 1-3 weeks for jobs average. If you need something quick you should go elsewhere. But for high quality no rush jobs, this place will do the trick. I've had four large format rare posters framed here that they formatted them perfectly. For rush jobs most reputable Manhattan frame shops will get the job done with nearly equal quality, for less money and much faster. But being that this place is local to where I live, the convenience factors into my decision to use them.
