  The pictures and description of this hotel was not accurate. Paid premium for a nice view. While the view was nice everything else was not. The rooms are dated. Feels more like a motel than a hotel. Our first room smelled like smoke, so we were promptly moved. There was a fire alarm at 2am so we had to go down 35 flights of stairs. Other reviewers have had this fire alarm incident as well, so I'm not exactly sure I believe the staff when they say there was a toaster issue in one of the rooms. The service of the staff was good.

  This hotel is in an Executive building with businesses and private residences in downtown Honolulu. We got a room on the 36th floor, overlooking the harbor. It was a beautiful view but there were no balconies. It was a wall of floor to ceiling windows. The room itself was clean but dated. You get a small fridge and a microwave. There is a restaurant/bar on the first floor and many places to eat within walking distance. The pool is big and clean. The hot tub was clean and hot. If the time comes that I need to be in Honolulu again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Great place for extended stay. Keep in mind, all condos are privately owned, but managed and cleaned by the Aston. With that said, no two condos are alike. All have different amenities and decor. Some recently renovated and look brand new, others heavily used and smell. Condos above 20th floor have awesome view. Unfortunately you can’t open windows to let the fresh air in as most of the AC units have seen better days.

  Great hotel, really nice room. It was clean and large enough for our family of 3. Comes with everything you could possibly need if you're going to stay awhile. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad that we couldn't sleep.

  This is not really a "hotel". It's a building with privately owned condos which vary widely in quality. Some of them are lovely, with full kitchens, a small living room and a washer/dryer. Others are small, with a kitchenette, and no real amenities. It's a quiet building. And each unit has separate wifi so it's really fast. You are in downtown Honolulu, so you are close to business but not the beach. If you're on business travel, this works OK. If you are on vacation, keep that in mind.
