::I went there because of numbness and tingling in my left shoulder and left leg. He spent less than 2 minutes with me. His office took xrays from hip, knee, (though i brough my previous xrays with me-they insisted on getting their own $$$$$). Another surgeon who tells you there is nothing wrong with you if they can not do surgery. He said i may see a rheumatologist. His Medical Assistant was a lot more helpful and concerned than him. Do not waste time and money.

::in 2013, I destroyed my knee in an ATV accident. I saw several doctors and decided on Dr. Shah. His bedside manner was terrific and he addressed all of my concerns with confidence. All of that said, I ended up with 7 screws in and around my knee. Post surgery was difficult. I never expected to be able to do anything without discomfort. The doctor was confident of my recovery. His advice to take my pain medication before physical therapy, knowing the joint was solid, vastly improved my ability to work through tissue that has become hard and tight due to the time spent in a straight brace. He also listened to me and desire to remove a screw early that I felt was impeding my progress. Today I am proud to say I am back at the gym, biking, walking, and doing things pain free. I even can do squats with my trainer even though I was unable to do them prior to my knee surgery. In addition, my mother who is avid dance and yoga teacher at 77 years of age used Dr. Shah for a knee replacement. She was back dancing in two months. I can't thank Dr. Shah and the fine team at Englewood Ortho enough for the fine work they do.

::ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!!! MY MOTHER HAD A HIP REPLACEMENT FROM DR. SHAH AND THE SURGERY WAS RUSHED. HER LEG IS AN INCH LONGER THAN THE OTHER AND SHE IS CONCERNED BECAUSE THIS SIGNIFICANT DISCREPANCY IS CAUSING HER OTHER HIP TO HURT WHICH MIGHT POTENTIALLY LEAD TO NERVE DAMAGE OR ANOTHER HIP REPLACEMENT. I HAVE SPOKEN TO SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THIS OPERATION AND NONE OF THEM HAVE A LEG SIGNIFICANTLY LONGER THAN THE OTHER. ALTHOUGH SHE WAS NEVER WARNED THAT THIS WOULD BE AN OUTCOME, SHE BROUGHT IT UP TO THE DOCTOR AND HE TELLS HER IT'S NORMAL (AFTER THE FACT). HE DID NOT EVEN EXPLAIN TO HER OR GIVE HER ANY ALTERNATIVE OF WHAT CAN BE DONE. HE SIMPLY GOT ALL DEFENSIVE ANF DISRESPECTFUL WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM LIKE A CHILD. YOU CAN JUST SEE HOW CARELESS HE IS AND HOW LITTLE HE CARES ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS DOCTOR I INVITE YOU TO RECONSIDER.
