  Dr. Selzer's ofc. sent my husband to an OUT-of-NETWORK endodontist for an emergency procedure (calcified root canal following crown prep). Selzer's office called ESSENTIAL ENDODONTICS and were told yes, EE is an in-network provider for my husband's insurance plan. At least that is what we were told. ***GET THIS: When husband arrived at Essential Endodontics (DR. CHRIS YELTON) minutes later, THEY changed their story. No, they are NOT in-network. Are you KIDDING me? We wound up having to pay TWICE what we $hould have paid becau$e in$urance won't cover. (You're there, IN PAIN, they can treat you now ... you'll $ay/do anything ju$t to get out of pain.) BAIT AND $WITCH??? ***WAIT TIL YOU $EE THE BILL and REPAYMENT PLAN they conveniently have all ready for you becau$e they're pretty $ure you're not walking away. Everyone knows it's the insured's responsibility to find a doctor IN-NETWORK. However, when you're in the chair at your dentist's office and ONLY THEN learn your dentist is sending you immediately to another dentist ... AND your dentist office calls ahead to determine eligibility, you either trust what they tell you or you go home in pain til you can hear it (eligibility) for yourself. This "in-network-->out-of-network switcheroo" would likely prompt many to FIND ANOTHER DENTIST. I would NOT be going back to either of these places. And I will spread the word. Shady business practices, people. Just sayin' . . . .
