I had hair restoration surgery here and I'm very pleased with the results. I get compliments all the time on how great my hair looks. If anyone is considering this procedure I would highly recommend Arocha Hair Restoration.

I want to say that I have no complaints with the doctor, office staff, or problems during the procedure. People thinking of doing this procedure need to understand that it doesn't work for everyone. I had a mega session that turned out great but soon began thinning. A second mega procedure was recommended and carried out. The results were amazing for about 2 years. After about 4 years there isn't much left. I went back a year or so ago and a 3rd procedure was recommended which I declined. Update: Probably 85% of both surgeries are now gone. There is nothing specific to my case that was ever pointed out at time of procedures and there is nothing new that has come up since. Taking Propecia and additional implants were the recommendations in follow up visits. People just need to know it does not work for everyone. There was never anything "unique" that was pointed out that could possibly alter the results. Response: I DID come in about a year prior to my first post with these problems and concerns. I was told I could you could do another (third) procedure and take a medication. I specifically asked if there were instances that this procedure does not work but was never given a straight answer. I have found after doing much research and speaking with others that there ARE in fact some people that this does not work well with for whatever reason. This procedure is NOT 100%. I have gone to dermatologists with nothing found to date.

Make sure you read the one star reviews as these are posted by actual patients. It’s fairly easy to spot the fake reviews posted by the PR person at this office under different names or “A Google User” on this and other review sites. I had a 1,500 graft FUT. One of the first things I noticed was that Dr Arocha took out the strip and made the incisions for the grafts but that was the extent of his involvement in the procedure. His techs did the placement of the grafts. In fact, not just one but two techs, one on each side. As a result, the success of the grafts was different on each side. Not what I would’ve expected from someone who claims to be an artist. Also, when he was removing the strip I noticed he was using a sawing motion with the scalpel rather than a smooth linear incision. As a result, I have a significant donor scar with shock loss surrounding it so I have to wear my hair long now to cover it. When I sent him an email regarding the donor scar, he replied with “just put some Rogaine on it” then stopped responding to my emails. Buyer beware. His surgical technique for removing the strip is sub-par, he has techs place the grafts (contrary to what he advertises), and he has fake positive reviews posted on review sites. His PR person will claim this review was posted by a jealous competitor but ask Dr Arocha who actually places the grafts during his procedures. Graft success is technique dependent. It’s not as simple as just stuffing a graft into a hole. Improperly handled grafts will not take and will be shed. Two different techs placing grafts will yield two different results. This is not something you want to discover for the first time while under sedation. By then, it’s too late.

Dr. Arocha and his team are very taleneted in all their procedures and how they conduct business. Before my eyebrow transplant procedure, i was researching who was the best for this type of work, and I'm glad I chose Dr. Arocha. I am 8 months post-op and very pleased with my eyebrows. I highly recommend Dr. Arocha, he will not let you down!

I just had an FUE surgery with Dr. Arocha and his staff and right away you can tell Dr. Arocha is passionate about hair. I paid for 2000 grafts and got an extra 100 grafts for free ($700 value) for better density. His technicians all went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable during the whole surgery (I was even fed lunch during the break). The most important thing about Dr. Arocha is that he isn't a plastic surgeon or dermatologist that does hair transplants as a side hustle, hair transplants are his specialty. Not only that, he really stands by his work and won't do a surgery if he knows it will look unnatural. I was classified as a NW 3 and wanted my old hairline back, he recommended getting me back to a NW 2. I orginally wanted a NW 1, but he couldn't do it because he knows once I get older and the rest of my hair starts to thin out, it would look weird to still have a teenage hairline, so we compromised to a NW 1.5, which he agreed would still look very natural on me. Because Dr. Arocha is one of the few doctors, if not the only, that has the skills to use the smallest incision possible, you'll get better density and your healing process will be quicker with his technique. After the surgery, I was advised not to get my hair wet the first night and was told to come back the next for a follow up and to be shown how to properly wash my hair during the healing process. It's been less than 24 hours and when he saw me again, he was amazed at how fast my donor area is healing, and asked me to come back in next week for another follow up. As you can see, he takes his craft very seriously! If you're seriously thinking about getting a hair transplant, do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with Dr. Arocha, he'll actually meet you personally during the consultation and his clinic is nothing like you've seen before. It looks like a big vacation house, which is a pleasant surprise, because it definitely helps you feel relaxed and "right at home."
