Great place. My now 2 year old has loved this place since she was a baby! Friendly staff. Great price with discounts.

I read reviews that mentioned it was a small place, still I thought it would be little bigger. It's pretty small, but it was great fun for the kids, specially when it was their first experience with sea life creatures. Jelly fish exhibit is cool, as well as the shark tunnel.

This facility is a huge disappointment. I have been to 7 aquariums across the country and enjoyed all of them large and small. Never have I seen a facility that was so clearly a tourist trap. Buyer beware! In the Jellyfish exhibit half the tanks did not even have the species names on them, what they eat, where they live? Their was no educational meat. The glass was dirty, the water unclear. Their were so few exhibits for 30.00 a ticket! We took our time, but could not drawl out the experience longer then 30 minutes. Which I personally don't think is worth 30.00 a ticket. The gift shop was the cleanest and most updated area of the facility. Which demonstrated to me that making money was the priority over updated tanks and quality immersion learning. If you have plenty of money and an hour to kill you may enjoy the shark tunnel, but don't expect to learn or see a lot of sea life in this facility. IF you want a quality experience I recommend the California Academy of Science. They may be more expensive, but you can easily spend a whole day there and will learn more about the amazing marine life that lives off of our beautiful California coast.
