::This place is a great shoppe. Went in with a deck I got as a gift and knew nothing of skateboarding. Worker helped me pick trucks wheels bearings and hardware and even assembled it all for me. Then even thought it was five minutes after closing he let me use the mini ramp in the back of the shoppe. Paid more then what you would have online by about 15% but that mark up gets you Assembly some tips and supports your local community "small price to pay in my book". Can't say enough good things check them out in their new location as they are moving in September 2017!
Conscious Cleaning Company
::I purchased some longboard wheels and got a new deck grip taped here last Saturday, for my 3 year old. We got home and rode the board for literally 1 minute and a huge chunk came out of the wheel. Again, he's 3, weighs 30 lbs, this is obviously a defective wheel? So I call the next morning when they are open and they tell me the owner has to be there to help me. Busy, raising a child, I make it up there Wednesday and the owner isn't in. So, the employee calls the store owner in front of me, does a terrible job representing the scenario, and then hangs up... informs me the owner says I have to go online and deal with the wheel company directly!? Are you kidding me!? This is what retailers are for, otherwise why would I pay the mark up to buy retail I could have just ordered them online in the first place. Right. So, if your a retail store but don't help your customers when you sell them junk, clearly your not doing well... the guy had told me three times now they have not been making any sales so they can't offer me anything... WELL, I have an idea why. Not taking care of a $30 set of wheels when it's clearly a defect and your JOB as a retailer is to handle product returns for customers, why would anyone shop here? Terrible experience and waste of 3 trips to this store. Next time I will purchase online, save money, or try out another shop in town. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. Prices seemed a little high in things anyway.
