Watch out for the sketchy french waiter! He over changed several things. When I confronted him on the sign w/ prices right in front of us he pretended not to have seen it. I haven't seen these type of scams since Times Square in the 80s. Btw, the food and wine was just ok, nothing special.

We rented the space for my mother's wake and over payed for it. AFTER we booked our party they booked a birthday party (which they served an hour late). Because they were put in late they we're still in the space when we went to set up with the 15 min that we were given for set up. We personally busses the tables (our guests not the staff) at fifteen after we were supposed to be in the space. Our guests we're literally standing around in a corner of the restaurant while we waited for the tables to be cleared of a party that should have been gone 30 minutes ago because the staff wasn't good on time. The food was good but NEVER EVER book a party or important event here.

A wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Magnificent escargot and very reasonable prices. Informal, not the pseudo-upscale eatery & I love the decor.

This is my favorite French restaurant in the UES and perhaps the city. Both the quality and variety of food offered at A.O.C. can easily compete with French cuisine offered at other three and four star restaurants. I'm amazed at how consistently they are able to offer exceptionally prepared meals - for both brunch and dinner - every time I dine here. Their chefs take great care in selecting extremely fresh ingredients for dishes that are expertly prepared. The portions are also quite generous. Skip the one-hour-wait-downtown-brunch nonsense and eat food prepared by people that know how to cook.
