::Cool pub, has some couches but somehow doesnt feel like much seating space. A/C was set rather warm the evening I went. Bartenders are good. Parking is Valet only and its so close it's laughable.

::Nice contemporary feel and great vibes. Great place to meet with small group of friends or to hang out with people you just meet. Not crowded on week days. Unsure about weekends.

::A great bar in a great part of town. The drinks and the atmosphere whenever I have been has been great. Whenever I go it is normally uselessly before the huge crowd starts showing up, so my friends and I are able to find seats together at the bar. It is quite enjoyable to be able to watch the bartenders whisk up everyone's drinks. They are super friendly and if you ever need a recommendation on a drink they always seem to have the perfect one.

::Exploring TX for the first time I was ecstatic to find this hidden gem. If the entrance isn't cool enough the drink menu is insane. If possible opt for the drink tasting menu but make sure you eat prior. The drinks, service, music, ambiance...everything is amazing. Not crazy about the 2 hour max you are allowed for your table but definitely a must try. You will not be disappointed.

::Still the best bar in the area. Whenever I find myself in Houston I tend to just end up at Anvil, and with good reason. It still appears to be the best cocktail bar in the area (if not the whole city). It has both "the old standby" reputation, and "the best cocktail spot" reputation. Service is second to none, as it has always been. The bartenders have rigorous training, and always treat the guests with respect. If you want to learn something about a drink or spirit, they are willing to help and very knowledgeable.
