Antoine's Annex is an adjunct to the famous restaurant in NOLA called Antoine's. While Antoine's itself is very pricey, this coffee shop is much more reasonable. It was late in the day when we arrived. And, the day being hot I ordered an iced tea. Others in my party ordered different types of coffee. No one was unhappy with either what we got, or the service. The decor is nice and the seating comfortable. One issue I have with anything in or near the French Quarter is the rest rooms are typically not so nice. While their's is not like the Ritz, the men's room was clean. That adds a lot.

Great gelato and baked Alaska! We couldn’t get enough! The workers aren’t very friendly, but the food is delicious!

I ordered a iced chai tea. I watched the girl behind the counter pour my tea from a pre packaged, mass produced chai tea container. The eclair I purchased was half frozen and very bland. I honestly could have bought the same thing at a 7-11 for half the price. Save your money and find a real pastry shop

We were in town for a few days while my wife attended a conference and happened upon this great little establishment in Royal Street. The decor was sweet, the cappuccinos hard to beat and the repartee from Jonathan superb.Came back a second time and it was still great.Bought some amazing Pecan, dark chocolate and caramel delights for my wife. She loved them.Power to you guys from the Aussies who love the blues. 6 years later.....May 2017 and we are back in New Orleans.Jonathan has left and opened his own coffee shop somewhere. The lattes we got this time were pretty sad.We won't be coming here next time we visit but instead heading to Envie Espresso Bar & Cafe in Decatur St where our lattes were excellent.

Awesome gelato and wonderful double chocolate muffin served to us by Julian and Jordon who both went out of their way to serve us. We enjoyed chatting and laughing with them!
