  Animal Dermatology Clinic is a great place to take your dog. Vinnie was misdiagnosed(even with a biopsy) at a previous vet and placed on high dose steroids for over a year and he was getting worse. So thankful he was properly diagnosed and we were able to change his meds and probably added years to his life

  I am beyond dismayed at the lack of professional courtesy this clinic in Tustin provided me. We moved last year 7 hours away & I was set on keeping my relationship with Dr Mendelsohn & drive the 7 hours EACH way every six months to keep Dr Mendelsohn as my vet. She was a miracle worker with my dog and we spent thousands of dollars there over 3 years to treat her skin & ears. Then, the RUDE staff, specifically Katie got involved. We had a very expensive blood panel done on 11/21/17. I was told I needed to come back in SIX months to re check the blood in order to make sure the meds my dog Ivy was on were ok. When I called in a refill on 4/7/18 for 60 days of meds(Apoquel), Katie told me I could only have 30 days because I was due for a recheck. I told her I had a trip planned for the week of June 4th & planned to see the doctor that week--hence the request for 60 days. My SIX months would be 5/21 & she rudely told me that the doctor said NO to my refill and I could only get pills to take me to 5/9(a 30 day refill only). I asked Katie to please explain to Dr Mendelsohn my situation of travel and that i would effectively be there two weeks after the "6 month check due date". We went back & forth for 2 days & she told me that would NOT extend us the professional courtesy of a 2 week extension!! SO MUCH for a long term relationship with a GREAT doctor to be ruined by Katie. I would NOT recommend this place if you expect them to work with you in any way outside of a calendar black box.....and Katie should not be interfacing with good paying, loyal clients. I am baffled that Dr Mendelsohn was not flexible (according to Katie) because the doctor that I came to know wouldn't have blinked given our loyal history.

  I live in Lakewood and it's a drive to get to Tustin (even with a cat who doesn't mind car rides) but, in my opinion, it's the BEST veterinary clinic in Southern California. Dr. Cambridge and the rest of the staff are lovely. They are so caring and compassionate. I highly recommend this place to pet owners needing specialized care for their pets.

  ADC is committed to finding the correct diagnosis and treatment for your pet. Before even doing a blood test, the doctor correctly diagnosed that my dog has very bad environmental allergies. Lo and behold, the blood tests showed exactly that! When one treatment didn't work, they switched to another, and they're completely on top of her ongoing treatment. My dog no longer itches, and we are only beginning her lifeling treatment regimen. I am very thankful for the talented staff at Animal Dermatology Clinic!
