::I went in Amy's Bread yesterday and they were great. I spoke with "Denisha" over the phone and placed an order. She called me when the order was ready. She and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. I definitely recommend to anyone. FYI, I was ordering hot cross buns:-)

::My name is Kenya, and I ordered a nine inch carrot cake from Amy's Bread. When the got to it;s destination, turns out, it's the wrong cake. I called the store and spoke with Paul who said I should have checked the cake before it left the store and he was being really nasty. I went to the store with the cake and spoke with Benita who kept apologizing. I told her that I understand mistakes happen and it's ok, but what pissed me off was the way Paul spoke to me. She took care of the cake and refund, she was excellent. I will continue to go to that store because of her. Thank You so much Benita!

::They take making bread very seriously. So many flavors of bread, always fresh and delicious. You must try their 'walnut, raisin bread. It's truly out of this world.

::Its located conveniently in Chelsea Market, Amy's is a great place to get your daily bread fix. They offer a wide selection of breads, and most breads are available in full size and mini loaves. Prices are reasonable. And, while lines are long, they tend to move quickly. I would recommend their sourdough or any of the "rustic" varieties. But, you really cannot go wrong.
