  The salon is beautiful with a great view. I wanted my hair cut shorter than normal. Amithyst gave me exactly what I had pictured.

  I've been getting my hair done by Amithyst for 12 years now. I have short curly hair and she always does the perfect, funky cut to frame my face and she's amazing at color. Add Champs and great conversation to the mix and it's a perfect way to spend a day off! I drive from San Francisco just to get my hair dome by her cuz' I don't want anyone else!

  This review is long overdue! Every visit to see Amithyst is always filled with laughing my butt off, the best shampoo head massage in the history of ever, snuggles from the salon pups, and of course, a bitchin' haircut! I have frizzy, semi-curly, naturally DRY (like, thirsty AF) hair, and we always find a way to get the look I want that also works with my texture. I recently came back from school with a terrible hair color, and she toned my brassy a** back to normal! I always feel welcomed and at home when I walk through the door, and I can just kick back and forget about the world for an hour. Thank you Amithyst, you freaking rock!

  Amithyst has been doing my hair for 17 years!! I cannot say how much I love going to her. She constantly is learning new techniques and I am impressed with the level of knowledge she has. I tend to stay blond, and she has made sure my hair has stayed healthy and beautiful. She is so good with color!! Thank you for all the wonderful years!! Ps: Kurtis and Michon are so much fun and make the experience even better!!

  I have been coming to this salon since I moved to Sacramento in 2014, and Amithyst and Kurtis are extremely talented, friendly, and welcoming. The appointments are easy to make through Vagaro on Yelp, and they are accommodating/flexible. I have loved my hair cuts and colors and have referred all of my friends to their salon with rave reviews from them as well. They are professional but also very fun so that the time in the chair passes like you’re getting coffee with friends. 100% recommend!
