  Ameris Bank is BAD! Stay away from Roswell Branch. I am making on offer on my dream home and found out Ameris Bank erroneously reported I missed a mortgage payment, killing my credit score. They have admitted the error to me yet refuse to send a one sentence letter to my mortgage broker that they will remove the mistake. Therefore I cannot make an offer on the house. Stay away from Ameris Bank. This is how they treat their customers.

  Great Bank, love that they know my name and I know there’s. Makes it easy when I need to get something done quickly. They really stay on top of adding technology to banking.

  I've been with them for over a month. I was told when I signed up that mobile deposits take up to 5 hrs to be deposited. Then they withheld my checks for 3 days for thirty days. Then after the first 30 days, they said they have to hold for 1 business day, which means: if you deposit on Friday, you don't have access to your money till Monday. I was given my check early on Thursday to have it on Friday and they are still holding it. They seem to change their policy every 2 weeks.
