  Great food and the happy hour (4-8, I believe) is unreal. The cocktails are very strong and HH apps are really good too. Try the spicy Edamame and the rock shrimp tempura if you're feeling adventurous. The bartender that is often there during the week, Alex, is super friendly and helpful as well. I go here probably 2-3 times a month with friends or dates, and will continue to do so!

  Amber is a delightful restaurant. All of its locations are good, but I like the decor of this particular one and there is a great ambiance in the space as well. Also, the staff are friendly, the prices are great and the food is really good. I've been to a lot of thai places, but Amber keeps me coming back over and over again.

  Weekend Lunch Special 12-4pm 3 rolls $12. Super fresh fish, very large pieces. Food is A++ Service is C- Service here is very lacking at times. Rude servers who roll their eyes at you and take a long time to get to you; even when the restaurant is empty. My most recent visit I had very fast service, but the waitress was still kind of rude! The restaurant was empty, I wanted to sit and enjoy the view for a bit.She rolled her eyes at me for not ordering food, after already having eaten 3 rolls and drinking a beer!

  Single most disrespectful costumer service I have ever dealt with. It was so terrible that I was forced to write my first review ever. The bartender was our waiter during lunch, flat out was rude from start to finish and spoke down to all of us at the table multiple times, verbally raised his voice on 2 different instances and when we found bugs in our soy sauce he actually leaves the sauce at the tables. Don't say a word until I call him back to switch it. Truly can not believe how terrible the service was, I wish I could give it 0 stars. The worst part of all of this is the food wasn't terrible- quite a bit overpriced but not outright terrible. service absolutely was

  For what its worth, Amber is a pretty decent Asian fusion restaurant that doesn't charge unreasonable prices. Their offerings are nicely portioned and the dishes are usually close in their resemblance to whatever "Asian" dish you are craving. True, a restaurant which offers such a culturally expansive menu usually falls on certain parts but I felt that their food is usually the better if the fusion restaurants in the area. The actual restaurant itself is in a nice location with opening doors to permit people watching on nicer days. The rest of the restaurant struggles to differentiate itself from all the hokey sports bars in the area so expect the usual crowds and atmosphere.
