Customer service was quiet lacking, treated as our group of 4 was a nuisance for whole 10mins we were there, decided to go somewhere else

It's a chill bar right now. I'm here for a lecture series hosted by UK. However, judging by the bucket of ear plugs for sale at the bar, I'm guessing it's usually pretty loud in here. Nice of them to offer ear plugs, though. I think it's pretty cool that they're hosting a nerd lecture.

Popped in to Al's while visiting for LexCon 2018 after hanging out at the Arcadium across the street. There was no live music that night, but is was incredibly down to earth. The bartender was an incredibly nice guy, and even took pictures with our sloppy selves at the end of the night (our small group was most of the patrons that night). We never got around to coming back to order what looked like delicious food from there, but next visit we plan to.

I was there as a member of a band playing on the weekend. The sound guy was super cool. The bartenders were fine and everyone treated us well. Recommend for good music p

As a performer, Al's Bar is great. All ages can be in til 10, so you get a pretty good audience! And the staff/ booking people are really great. Free water (cooler so you don't have to ask) and lots of places to sit other than the bar. They have a nice area outside as well. My only complaint (as a performer) is that the monitors aren't great, so it's hard to hear yourself onstage. But I love Al's, would recommend!
