The building looks like an old office building renovated to be a modern hotel. It was a little confusing to identify unless you were at the front door by the Aloft sign. The bar downstairs was nice and pretty cheap.

Trendy, cool hotel in downtown Dallas. About 300 bucks a night, but I suppose you're paying a little more for location and to be trendy. Free coffee in the mornings, everything else is expensive as hell, just like you'd expect. $3.50 for a 20 ounce soda, 12 bucks for a salad, the usual. Overall a pretty cool place, just bring you own drinks and snacks for the room or go to one of the many many walking distance restaurants in downtown Dallas.

Our room was nice and quiet. The hotel has a very β€œmodern” look as do the rooms. The down side was room service. Not the best at cleaning and making he room back up. The bar was nice and well stocked.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The location was really easy to spot. Because we were there for an event the parking was free. The hotel itself was nice, it looked well decorated and the staff were helpful. My only complaint would be that it was a bit hard to find our room for the meeting but that's more on the organization and less on the hotel itself.

Trying to be a trendy hotel...lots of industrial feel.... Converted office building, there was a 30" column going straight through the room floor to ceiling. Desk was minimal so I ended up using the bed for a workspace. Pricey on breakfast, drinks at the bar and bar food. Shower lacked pressure but the hot water was abundant. Front desk was outstanding, friendly, courteous and helpful. No drop off drive. You have to park, go inside to check in, then back out to your vehicle to retrieve your luggage. Walking distance to the Federal building..about the only major plus.
