  Definitely recommend. No rip-offs just straight up reasonable prices and friendly staff. I dropped my car off and he even offered me a ride home just so I could myself the trouble.

  I would recommend them to everyone! Five stars is not enough. They did what other mechanics in town either would not or could not. They are the best auto shop that I have ever been to as well! Here's the story: My family (of 8) were stranded in Beacon on a Thanksgiving 2014 visit with relatives. We were trying to leave when our vehicle overheated within two minutes of ignition and there was no hot air coming through the vents. The day before, another mechanic in town fixed part of the problem by installing the freeze plugs back into the engine to stop the antifreeze/coolant leaks. However, they told us that we had to either replace our engine ($7k and 2 weeks worth of parts and labor) or repair the head gasket ($1.5k and a couple of days worth of parts and labor). Disgusted, I took the hit for a couple hundred bucks at that shop and they did not fix my problem. The next day, my wife and I went to Allstar Car Care and we let them know what happened. They are some of the nicest people I've met in New York! They fed us throughout the day; I'm talking Kennedy Fried Chicken, Pizza, Coffee, Eggo French Toast and Quaker Oatmeal in the morning. They were very insistent about offering food. We had extensive work that needed to be done. They made sure that the job was done right and in the work they did they pinpointed the problem, and no, it was not a head gasket! They replaced our thermostat and our water pump, and threw in a new light bulb because it was out when they took it for a test drive. That same night, my wife, six children and I got on the road and back down to Maryland where we live. When we come back to visit our relatives, we will definitely stop in to visit them. I really can't say enough good things about them. There are still good people out there, and there are still trustworthy mechanics out there. You can find both at Allstar! It is the only place I would go if I had car trouble in Beacon again; I highly recommend them to anyone who are trying to get the job done right!

  This is hands down the nicest group of people I have ever met in the automotive industry. I was on a trip from Portland, Maine down to FL when my care died on I-84 at 6:00 PM. They were the only ones open and they stayed late to help me. They replaced my alternator for a more than fair price despite my desperation. They offered me coffee, food, and even a place to stay if need be. They got the parts the same night and I was on my way. This was a true family owned business. Renewed my faith in mechanics.
