  Allan is amazing! He BY FAR offers the best prices for scrap gold and jewelry (I shopped around and he gave me almost DOUBLE what places like Route 51 Quick Cash offered). If you need to sell gold or jewelry DO NOT waste your time anywhere else. He did say he has back problems though so sometimes the shop is closed randomly, but I PROMISE it is worth waiting until he opens back up. He's the nicest guy, too. (When I went I didn't realize it was meter parking and, before he even knew if he was going to make any money off me, he met me at the door and gave me a quarter to put in so that I wouldn't get a ticket.) He's the only one in the area that deserves anyone's business. Everyone else is going to rip you off as hard as they possibly can. I was honestly shocked at the difference of his offer from other places near by. They must get away with it because, besides this guy, they ALL rip you off so badly. Sometimes I wish I had something else I wanted to sell just to give the guy more business!
