I hate to provide a bad review, but I don't understand how Ali's cookies are rated higher than Tiff's treats. Ali's cookies are super sugary. I like how chewy they were, but I like a bit more salty taste with my sweet cookies. Also the cookies are super flat and I prefer a fluffy chewy warm cookie.

It was my first time there yesterday and the shop smelled absolutely delicious and the cookies tasted as good as they looked! I love soft cookies. I ended up choosing 2 cookies from 3 different specialties, including the spicy hot chocolate which I highly recommend! But I wish the service had been as welcoming as the cookies. I was taking my time browsing the various cookies and the store in general and when I was approached by the employee I asked her a few questions like what was in the apple pie cookie, but I got the feeling I was an annoyance and she had more important things to do than help a first time customer. She never even smiled back at any point during the encounter. All comments I made were ignored. Questions were answered shortly. I'm pretty sure I would've been better off just being left alone to browse by myself and then making my choices when I was ready. A+ Cookies, C+ Service I really hope that I just came at the wrong time. (10:30 AM is prep time maybe?) Everyone has off days I guess...but it felt personal, like my business wasn't wanted. Very unfriendly.
