  I’ve been working out at a•line since they opened their doors here in Carroll Gardens. We are so lucky to have this studio on the neighborhood! The studio itself is bright, beautiful, and well-equipped. Carey is a master teacher, endlessly dedicated, and an enthusiastic motivator. She has gathered a group of equally challenging and dedicated instructors and offers a broad selection of classes and one-on-one instruction. Debby, in particular, combines her rigorous workouts with meditation-style relaxation at the end. Each visit to the studio has you walking out stronger, more centered, lighter, and happier!

  As someone who takes pilates as much for physical therapy as a way to stay fit, a*line has been life changing. Every class is a gift and I leave feeling as if I have just done my body and mind a great deal of good. Instructors are first class and Carey is as a combination of healer and teacher. After 6 months of classes I am pain free, taller, leaner and happier.

  I have been an A*Line devotee since it opened in 2016. I worked with Carey and her phenomenal team while pregnant and credit them for my smooth pregnancy, easy delivery and now recovery. If you are expecting, there is truly nothing better than these amazing classes (you'll even make mommy friends!). In addition to the technical expertise, the studio is a beautiful and inspiring space. It continues to be my favorite personal treat. A special thank you to my favorite teachers Carey, Debby, Gwen and Molly!

Carey and her team are encouraging, understanding, and they have a deep knowledge of the body that allows them to really challenge their clients at every level of fitness.
