Awesome atmosphere, great food, but Jaycee or something (bartender) gets a ONE star. She set a shot in front of us saying โ€œyou girls want a shot?โ€ So of course we thought she was being nice or someone got them for us. We were slightly confused but agreed to take them. And then we were billed for the $7 shots that we NEVER ordered and basically handed to us. So, terrible service from her. Just beware of deceptive bartenders. Not impressed.

High quality food (I love their free-range chicken!!!), great atmosphere, great beers! Vinny was our server and he truly made our night! So personable and gave us awesome recommendations! Thank you- weโ€™ll be back soon!

Pretty good food. Cool location and a fun rooftop patio. Good selection of beers as well. Itโ€™s a large place with a lot of seating too. The rooftop does get full quickly in the summer and the tables donโ€™t typically turn over very quickly so it can be very hot or miss on getting a seat up there which is one of the main draws of the place.

We hit the Ale House on Monday afternoon for a late lunch. Friendly service, very comfortable and unhurried experience. Its basically a really nice bar: exhaustive beer and wine lists, lots of local talent on show. Stick with bar food: great burgers, find somewhere else for Ahi. Mac and cheese is truly remarkable. This place is ideally situated for outdoor dining with a view, and is a short walk across Highland Bridge to the heart of town. Definitely stop by.

I give every one of the staff a full five stars. They are all friendly, highly knowledgeable of the menu, food ingredients, drink menu, and food contents. At first I thought they were related to the owners due to the level of knowledge of the menu, how long certain items have been on the menu, the most popular items, how the pork is cooked, etc. Hands down, it's the best staff I've ever encountered. Kudos.
