My Twin Sister introduced me to The Aldi Grocery Store experience. We drove from Robinson Twp., PA, across the border to Ohio 15 years ago for Thanksgiving dinner supplies and I was amazed what great selections and how much one can save on groceries. I must add the produce is always fresh and parking is free. So grateful for that and also grateful that they've opened many Aldi stores in the Pittsburgh area.

Good selection. Very reasonably priced merchandise. Great staff with excellent customer service attitude. A pleasure shopping at Aldi.

Embarrassingly limited selection of products, rude staff, and very anti-semitic (zero kosher for passover products, yet loads of easter stuff). Then I learned the company is owned by a former German Nazi soldier, Theo Albrecht.

Great fruits and vegetables! Most of their generic products are very good too. I do avoid their beef/poultry/fish, as I haven't had good luck with those. Their prices are excellent. You do have to bag your own products, like the warehouse chains, but definitely worth the savings.

Reasonably priced food and a decent selection. Its where i spend most of my grocery budget. That said, they need at least a couple more people on hand. There are always carts in the aisles, which are terrible to navigate when it's busy. There are 5+ checkouts, but only 2 seem to ever be open at once. They'll claim it keeps their costs low to be understaffed, but I know that when a manager is busy restocking the shelves, he's not ordering enough produce. That's probably why they were out of spinach last week.
