  I have been satisfied with each of my AJ's food orders. I started ordering a year ago and am a regular. AJ's in Pompton Plains offers fast delivery on quality food at a fair price. AJ's has an online ordering system that makes it especially convenient to order once you have the hang of it. If you want your pizza pie cut in 16, there's a checkbox for it. If you want to hold the black olives on your salad, in favour of dried cranberries, then there's a check box for that, too.The online ordering system stores your last few orders automatically. If you want to store your "favourite" orders indefinitely, you can do that, too. AJ's quality food & fair price has more to it: customer service. On one occasion, I ordered delivery online but had to call to change it to pick-up. When I arrived to the store, the employee offered me 2 bottled drinks at no additional cost since he noticed that my delivery tip no longer applied. On another day, AJ's called after 40 mins of my placing my order. They wondered if Id mistakenly requested "pick up" on my online order, when I really meant "delivery". They were right! I ordered in a rush & I mistakenly pressed the "carry out" radio button. If you have the Pequannock card, you save 15% on any order. Their chicken parm is thinly pounded. The baked ziti with generous meat sauce (instead of marinara) & melted mozzarella is really good. I enjoy AJ's in Pompton Plains.

  Both the calamari and tortellini had to be out of a box. Maybe the pizza with hardly any sauce was also out of a box. Worst pizza I ever had.

  I made an order online yesterday and i was waiting for more than an hour for my pizza when i called the store and they told me they do my delivery to somebody else. They never called me or anything then , i was starving waiting for my pizza and i got nothing. He offered to me to sent another pizza but how i suppose to wake up at 3:00am in the morning to go to work! They person that i spoke to told me that one of my neighbors said she is going to text me , its funny because i just move here not one have my cell phone number.. it's unbelievable, i don't recommend this place. One star i think its too much!! I hope i get my money back to my credit card soon!!
