  It's hard to believe that this company has any good ratings. We've been sitting here for an hour waiting for the plumber to show up to and have our main line scoped. We already know that it's damaged and needs to be replaced which is a huge and expensive project, one this company isn't going to do. The guy could at least call to say he's running late. If they can't even communicate with potential customers then why would we trust them with anything?

  Had a main line clog, Luis came out with in 45 min fixed it up and was awesome, thank you for being my hero tonight!!

  Showed up on time, cleared the minor clog, very professional. Luis did a great job. Minor billing issue but they made it right!

  We had our water heater installed last year and are currently in the process of selling our condo. We wanted to make sure we passed inspection so we called Afford A Rooter and made an appt for Saturday 2/10 at 2pm. We were quoted $89.00 for water heater inspection. Saturday is here and there was a no call no show so I tried calling numerous times to fund out what was going on. No answer. I finally called from my wifes phone and the guy who I presume is the owner said he would have Rob call back. Spoke with Rob, said he was dealing with more "important" calls than a water heater inspection. Then tells me it's going to cost $239.00 for the inspection and wouldn't get here until Monday while getting an attitude. 1. No call 2. Upped the price 3. Moved the appt. 3 strikes We can find a better company. Do not use these guys. Very upset with the professionalism and lack of courtesy. Don't take on appts as a company you can't fulfill.

  I was rather dreading having to have my main sewer line repaired- especially with it being right around Christmas - but Afford-a-Rooter made it into a much more pleasurable than expected experience. Everyone involved: Trevor (the owner - who gave the original estimate); Luis (the construction crew leader); Chinto (co-worker of Luis); Sue (office mgr. - who scheduled the work & helped with the payment process); and Dee (office assistant) were a delight to work with in their particular aspect of the project. Everyone was polite, efficient, flexible, and thorough. The actual repair work went quicker than I had expected, and in the end I felt a great relief that I had chosen Afford-a-Rooter as the work was done properly, my yard was cleaned up as best that could be expected, and I was paying a very fair price. I definitely recommend Afford-a-Rooter to anyone needing repairs done to their sewer line.
