I made an appointment there because it was walking distance from my work. My appointment was 12:30. I could leave work at lunch. Be seen, and maybe only miss an hour of pay.Got there at 12, checked in, and was told to wait to be called for registration. And hour later still wasn't called. Went back to the desk and was told they FORGOT to check me in! AVOID THIS PLACE!

I wouldn't recommend going there in the evening hours if you need to do a walk in appointment or at all even if you have a late appointment after 3pm. On April 6, 2018, I went straight there after getting off work at 3:00pm for a walk in only to be greeted by the light skinned receptionist with a bob hairstyle like I was an inconvenience or something. Since it was only going on 4:00pm, I could obviously tell she was ready to go home by the way she was talking to me. You do not necessarily have to be belligerent and yell at people to make the environment an unwelcoming place for them which she was not. To me, it just seemed like she was impatient and was ready to go home and want nothing to do with another face trying to walk in there for an appointment. She asked what doctor was I seeing after asking if I had an appointment. I said I was trying for a walk-in. Next she wanted to know what appointment was I seeing them for like dental, vision, or what. I said Annual checkup in Women's health. It felt like an unwelcoming environment for me. She explained to me the policy on walk-ins. I did not be demanding or get obnoxiously argumentative with the receptionist and demand to see her "supervisor" as I know that is not going to change their policies. People was probably acting stupid like that to her all day and I probably was unfortunate enough to catch her at her worst mood by the end of her work shift. I got apologetic in case she did feel like I am deterring her from getting off work and going home. She said that was fine even though I believed she was ready to go home and not want to be bothered with another client trying to walk in there. I understand that the walk-in appointment policy is a first come first serve basis and that they normally do not have any more walk-ins after 3pm but don't make the environment unwelcoming for clients upon entering the facility especially if they are not doing anything to you. It is not like I purposely waited until it is too late to go there just to spite the staff. I get off work at 3pm so I can't go down there in the early morning hours when there is a few walk-in slots available. I mean, an inconvenience is how the receptionist made me feel a little bit. I have noticed there are a lot of complaints on this site about the way the staff carries themselves when talking to people. Maybe a chunk of them just might be introverts and are drained by the time the evening hours come from dealing with incoming patients day in and day out for 8 hours straight in a work shift 5 days a week. And as the time draws closer for the facility to close, tired, they have desire to just be home and have some solitary time to themselves reading a good book, soaking in a bubble bath, sleeping, or if they are parents and grandparents, spend time with the kids and doing things outside of work. Perhaps they just may not be a people person like that and by the time the evening hours strikes close to closing and getting off work, they have less patience with clients still trying to come for an appointment in late afternoon to evening hours.
