So this happened a while back but I recently stumbled upon pics I had taken and I’m newly enraged. This was the literal worst manicure I’ve ever had in my life and I get ~10 a year. I went in for a gel manicure. The tech was rough with my cuticles, but not painful so I didn’t complain. The next day EVERY single cuticle was peeling. By the end of the week, it was all the way up to my first knuckle on more than half of my fingers. I was out of state for a conference and every time I reached for something my cuticles bled. I emailed and Aey responded basically blaming it on my skin, lack of lotion, and even the weather...despite the fact that this had never happened to me before. Eventually she said it might be dull trimmers. She offered an appointment to get them fixed...two weeks later. Additionally, the gel was peeling about a week, week and a half in. For the price tag, there are larger, cleaner salons with more competent staff. TLDR: Staff isn’t well trained/doesn’t have the proper equipment. Salon is cramped. Management makes excuses. AVOID.

I love this place. They do such a good job and I've been happy every time. They are also clean and constantly keeping up with the lastest trends. I added a photo below because I'm amazed at how close to the cuticle they get without flooding and they keep the finish smooth 😊 Thanks, ladies, I'll be back. Edit: this is gel

Made an unexpected nail appointment. I was accommodated and welcome after showing up late (so gracious). My nail technician was very kind. It became apparent that she was not professionally trained and/or the technician did not have professional training. Compared to my previous nail experiences, the quality of this manicure was the worst I’ve ever received. I’ve never felt so annoyed about an experience. Ps - most reviews on yelp are suspiciously similar/lack of certified reviews. Word of caution: steer clear

I got powder dip nails for the first time today. I have never had any kind of acrylics on my nails at all. I'm sure you need to get used to the feel of them, but I do feel like my nails are WAY thicker than they need to be. If you look at them from the side some are very thick and 2 not too much. I have seen online tutorials of this process and have never seen them dip more than twice. Mine were dipped 3-4 times and they just seem really think and inflexible. All of my nails are different thicknesses, and that's what I don't like. There were 3 nails with jagged edges I had to file after I got home and noticed them. I like the idea of this, but I'm not sure if they were made too thick or it's just me. The salon was nice and clean, and everyone there was very pleasant. I would not get these again unless someone else did them and made sure they were thinner and even and not running over the edge of my nail.
