  As a former employee of Advanced Electric, I would like to write a review of Tony Fumentos company if you ever decide to work for him. First off don't let the name throw you off, there is nothing advanced about this electrical contractor except his van. Seriously OSHA will have a field day with Tony with his best up "A" frame ladders, paint brushed feather end extension ladder and everything he owns is very outdated or beaten up. NONE of his customers like him. He will make you drive from job to job and rack up your EZ Pass and waste gas without reimbursement. He keeps a minimal staff of employees (3 or less) while the rest come from a temp agency. His ego makes him think he's God's gift to the electrical world and he's not big on technology either besides his early Y2K flip phone. If you use a GPS, he will tell you to throw it out and verbally give you directions in such a quick manner that he expects you to remember it all. He is verbally abusive to his employees and to the temps he hire. Don't expect him to order material, Tony will say "Borrow XYZ company's lift/ladders" or "Look around and see what material they have, I'm not ordering from the supply house." You will spend a good portion of your day searching for material at the customers job site and then you will get yelled at and demanded why the job took so long. Tony will not pay for holidays AND sick time. He's actually "generous enough" to pay for 1 week vacation which you have to give 3 months notice to take. In conclusion you have to be a doormat to work for this guy if you want a long term career with Advanced Electric. This monster should not have a business with the way he treats people.

  Owner hires workers without telling them they only have "x" amount of months to work and leaves them stranded with no job unable to pay their bills. This company destroys families and leaves workers at home saying "take a day off" as if they do not break their backs because they have bills to pay. 0/0 would not use.
