::Last week week, Urgent Care, Provider: Michelle. I came with a vestibular migraine. (Chronic Daily Migraines 22year). She asked me nothing, said she would only give me Tylenol or Ibuprofen. I went their hoping to get a four day supply of steroids which aborts the migraine and usually works. It was obvious she refused to help me so I left.

::Apparently, having legitimate worry for your life due to medical problems does not fall under the umbrella of the term "urgent". I needed tests run to properly identify my condition, a conditon that causes me extreme duress and discomfort.. They flat out refused to do anything other than preach from a soapbox. The practitioner did not look at any of my areas of concern. She simply repeated five times that my urgent need for a proper diagnosis wasn't worthy of their time. I was the only patient in the waiting area no less. I've been labeled and stereotyped UNMH offers me faux diagnoses with treatments I don't need.. I'm simply trying to find adequate answers. You call yourselves a research hospital? Absurd.

::The worst place to get treated. Everyone in this hospital is pretty much worthless with customer service. If I could give it a negative I would.

::I was there for a long time which frankly sucked but everyone was so sweet to me and conscientious I did not for a moment feel forgotten. They took my concerns seriously even though they were busy and nothing was dramatically wrong with me. All in all one of the best urgent care experiences I've had.

::I think their goal is to help individuals with minor illnesses like sinus infections, cuts, bites, flu and some feminine problems. There could be more that they treate but this is what I noticed. All the times I have been here I have not had a problem. The staff is friendly and I was seen right away. Best time to go is in the morning or before noon. A slight con is that you do have to wait a little. I have spent 2 hours waiting, but I was already in a room. They can be a bit slow even if they are not busy, but to me and the issue I was being seen for, 2 hours was not too bad.
