  Addeo is my personal favorite bread of all those available at Arthur Ave, Bronx. Best known for their seeded loaves and high rounds Addeo also has rings, biscotti, bread sticks, chicola and more! Make sure you buy extra because half will be gone on the way home LOL! Addeo is not the most colorful stop of AA your day, but the staff will make you smile and the products are unsurpassed. They have two locations, one on Hughes and another on 187. Both are essentially the same. Hughes is usually easier access by car. Certainly, if you don't get a spot on 187, just go around the block and hit the Hughes Ave location. Did I mention the bread freezes well? Yes! Buy extra and freeze it whole or cut into smaller sections. Always double bag and it'll last for months. Defrost on the counter at room temp and you'll think it was just bought. The high rounds fair better when ordered "unsliced".

  They bake the most amazing chocolate bread rolls on Fridays and Saturdays! Even more reason to look forward to the weekend
