  A fully stocked appropriate sized acme with large elevated parking area. Not too big, not too small. Can be crowded with a mix of old Kensington and new breed 30 somethings starting a family. These 2 customer base segments lack similarity in everyway so it's a strange for them to coexist. They end up both pushing through quickly and haphazardly, almost pretending the other isn't there.

  This is such a nice store but the customer service is seriously lacking. I went to the seafood counter to grab a few things for my fiance and myself. I got greeted with attitude from the guy behind the counter. I've never seen Maryland mac salad before so I wasn't sure if it was spicy or not. I asked him and he seemed annoyed and was like ma'am I don't know and printed a label and handed it over to me. I'm thinking what the hell? I read ingredients that still wouldn't let me know if it was spicy or not. Instead of him offering a sample he walked off until I was ready. While looking at what else was In display I slipped in front of case. There was water on the floor. I let guy know because I almost fell and there was no sign. He said "Yea I know there's water there it's leaking from under the case there's nothing I can do about it." That really set me off. There was such an attitude and lack of concern for the safety of customers. You have kids there, pregnant and non pregnant people around. Acme is really risking a lawsuit with that mess. I called customer service from inside the store where a sad excuse for a manager answered the phone cutting me off as I'm explaining the safety hazard. Talking to me like I'm stupid and don't know what a leak is or water. Simple fix the leak and have signs up.That visit really turned me off. I stopped shopping at Shoprite because of the quality they put out and switched to acme. Not for this type of treatment.

  I come here all the time it's very clean. They have good fun, but I don't like the sushi. They have a big section for gifts and they had a small clearance section for movies by the Pharmacy. They have a clean bathroom and my favorite scratch off machines.

  Great selection, but what acme doesn't. I wish their selection was a little more environmentally friendly and varied but the prices are pretty consistent and you can combine 3 shopping stops into one trip thanks to the sheer size of the pace

  Always clean and neatly stocked when I go there. I find some pretty good deals sometimes too. I was so frugal last time I did my weekly shopping there my total was only a few cents away from what my savings was but that's mostly thanks to the deals in their discount section by the bathroom where they sell off the rest of seasonal products that wont be restocked. Pretty good deals there. Oddly enough, the best part of this grocery store might be the view from its second story perch. Without many tall buildings around there is not much to obstruct a nice view of the city including the Ben Franklin Bridge and the skyscrapers of center city. Best view I have seen from a grocery store parking lot.
