  Very satisfied with my rental. Fernando the manager was very nice to deal with and even drove me to the terminal! I will rent from them again in the future and I highly recommend them in San Diego.

  You will pay 40-50 dollars more than what you initially booked regardless where you make your reservation (Amex, Expedia, etc). Unless you drop your car off before the store closes, you will end up paying overnight parking at laurel airport parking. Don’t be fooled by the initial price that’s listed online and go with other reputable rental companies. Also, don’t sign any paperwork until you inspect a vehicle because this rental company will ask you to sign the contract before the inspection occurs which never happens at the companies, such as Hertz.

  You definitely get what you pay for. I highly recommend spending an extra few dollars and going with a higher quality brand (Hertz) rental car company. I rented a minivan for the weekend through Expedia. When I arrived at the counter, there was only one person working the desk which resulted in long wait. The person at the desk attempted to charge me for additional driving miles even though my reservation clearly said unlimited miles. The minivan was rental quality with a ton of dings and scratches which was fine and I annotated them on my checkout paperwork. But when I attempted to return the van, they told me it was dirty and scratched. Yes, cars gets dirty when you drive them. They would not accept the car and made me drive it through a car wash. After an hour of going back and forth, they finally allowed me to return the van. Also, for anyone flying in late, they close at 8PM and requires two shuttles from the airport.

  I have rented from them twice. There was a brief wait to get the car. Both times, we got what we asked for. It was clean, in good condition. Staff was courteous and professional. You do have to listen to their spiel about trying to sell you add-ons, insurance, and upgrades, but you can easily decline all that. As long as you don't drive north of Santa Barbara, it's the best deal around. The only downside is that you have to take 2 shuttles to get there. You first have to take the "rental car shuttle" from the airport, then call them or wait a couple minutes for the Ace shuttle. It's really not much longer than it would take to get to the regular rental car area if you know what your doing. ON the way back, they were fast and dropped us off right at our terminal. They were helpful loading our luggage and everything.

  The men working here were Awesome! So friendly and offered information about local places to eat when I asked for recommendations. Had to wait a few minutes for my car and they were so apologetic. I got a great price for a compact rental for the week in San Diego. Definitely would rent a vehicle from here on my next trip.
