  I only had 1 item upholstered & they did a great job. The selection of fabrics & rugs was very good. Prices were also excellent.

  I would not recommend having your upholstery done here. They are very nice, and I instilled my confidence in them, but was extremely unhappy with their work. It was a drexel sofa, and I chose to recover in microfiber, which is a very common fabric. After years of other fabric being on, it was still all tight over time. I got their work, after date promised, and it was all puckered on cushions and not smooth as should be. We all know in time it will stretch, so it needs to be tight in beginning. After sending it back 2x's, it still wasn't right. Connie kept saying that microfiber does that....no, it should not....Then, on top of that,, she sewed the pillows with an obvious seam where each filled, about 6 in long, instead of closing it with cording smooth like in other places. It was truly ridiculous!! And I was SO upset over this, as it was not cheap to do!! When I went in to pick up cushions, after sent back 2nd time, she was rude to me. She didn't stuff pillows enough either, which I told her when sent back for obvious seams, and she started flinging them in anger to redistribute the stuffing because she still didn't fill them enough. I have pics of all of this: my sofa before I took in which was smooth, the puckers in cushions, and the pillows from her work. She had a young lady put more stuffing in cushions as she went in back and ignored me. The outcome is better, but still not great and no one should have to go through this. I would not go here!! Find another upholsterer!

  I visited Abode Fabrics & Rugs today for the first time. I was blown away. I absolutely love it. The selection, services & prices are amazing. The most affordable fabric store I've visited in a long time. It's beautiful inside. Feels more like a boutique. They also sell one of a kind furniture & accessories for the home.
