  First of all A-1 Power Equipment is no longer on Alleghany Ave in Lindenhurst, they're on Montauk hwy in Copiague. Originally A-1 power Equipment was the best place to go for repairs but since the business got sold and the original mechanics went else where. The new owners have hacks working for them. I brought my Stihl chainsaw to them having problems and they charged me $50 and told me it was fixed. After bringing it home and still having problems I brought it back to them, after a day they call me to tell me its running fine and to pick it up. I picked it up and as soon as I got home with it I had nothing but trouble with it. Totally disgusted I went on Stihl's web site looking for the nearest Stihl authorized repair place which was Bayshore mower in Bayshore. After bench checking it they told me I needed a new carburetor and agreed to have it fixed. Well, now it runs as awesome as it ever did since day one and the work order reads saying. "Carburetor limiter caps were missing off the carburetor and the adjusters were loose in the carburetor." Thanks for nothing A-1 Power Equipment, you're a hack shop.
