  I understand you don't want to deal with the late night drunks and homeless, but this place is perpetually 'stocking' late at night around the time bars are about to let out. It's not consistent either. Maybe around 1am, maybe 2. You really shouldn't claim you're 24 hrs if you can't do it. Be honest. I'm only a downtown employee, who is not a drunkard. I miss having my late night spot to grab a quick snack. This is just really bad business practice

  7-11 is supposed to be 24 hours, but the downtown locations always lock up during the late night hours, so that the employees don't have to deal with the downtown crowds. I know that it's a hassle, but you're expected to be open and operational, even during the more difficult times. I work downtown as well, and it sucks that I can't get a quick snack or drink before I drive home at 2:30am. There are literally no other options downtown at that time.

  I went into the 613 Congress store to use my belly card for coffee. The clerk told me I owed 87 cents for tax. REALLY?? after arguing this matter for a few minutes. His reply was. " take the damn coffee. Next time you pay tax or I bar your ass. Very rude 7/11 thought you had better employees than that.
