I came here with my roommate because she had to wash her uniform before work, along with a pillowcase. Both looked fine after we washed them, so we put them in the dryer, and when we took them out the white shirt had a huge stain that wasn't there before. It looked as thought it came from rust or something else in the machine, which wouldn't be surprising because they're really old, so we approached the owner and told him what happened. He proceeded to imply and then blatantly call us liars, and treat us with such a lack of respect. He told us that we had no common sense when that clearly wasn't the case. He yelled at us, and was so incredibly rude. She had to go and buy a new shirt, when the stain wasn't even her fault and was a direct result of the laundromat. I would not recommend this place of business- there is a much nicer, much cleaner establishment a few blocks down.

I have been coming here since I moved to the East Village. The machines are very old and grimy. Today, I went in to wash one white work shirt and one white pillowcase. When I took them out of the wash, they were perfectly clean (I expected them thoroughly). But when I took my shirt out of the dryer, there were several red-brown stains that looked like rust. I was very confused as I was not bleeding, there was nothing on it when I put it in and I couldn't find anything else in the dryer. I approached the owner about it and he proceeded to call my roommate and me liars and yell at us for our lack of commons sense. I now have to go buy a new shirt for work in two hours and I am incredibly disappointed and hurt. I WOULD NOT recommend using these old, beat up, dirty washers.
